Danke & Malprozess: Veganes Sommerfest 2016

Ich werde versuchen, in naher Zukunft einen kleinen Online-Shop einzurichten und vorher einen Blogpost oder so verfassen, der alle Rezeptposter, Wiesenplakat, Einwickelpapier, Karten, Lesezeichen, Sticker und Bücher auflistet. ****

Puh, das Festival dieses Wochenende war große Klasse. Tausend nette Leute kamen an unserem Stand vorbei (zumindest gefühlt), tolle Musik in der Luft, die Sonne schien und ich malte die ganze Zeit auf Leinwand. Auch wenn ich ein bisschen zitterig wurde, als der Auktionszeitpunkt näher schlich und das Bild noch nicht fertig war (die drei Bilder wurden am Ende jeden Tages zugunsten des Lebenshofs für Kleintiere Burg Nagezahn versteigert, siehe unten). Und auch wenn wir von plötzlichen Gewittern dreimal beinahe davongeschwemmt wurden. Großes Danke an meine vier wunderbaren Helfer, die mir das Malen erst ermöglicht und mich permanent ans Weitermachen erinnert haben. Und vielen Dank an die Organisatoren des Veganen Sommerfests und an die lieben Leute von der Burg. Ihr seid alle die Größten.

I’ll try to set up a small online shop in the near future and will write another blog post or something soon that lists all the recipe posters, herb poster, wrapping paper, cards, bookmarks, stickers and books. ****

Phew, this weekend’s festival was just amazing. A thousand nice people came by our booth (at least it felt like that), great music in the air, the sun was shining and I painted live on canvas all the time. Even if I got a bit jittery when the auction deadline drew closer and the picture wasn’t finished yet (the three daily paintings were auctioned at the end of each day in aid of dmall animal sanctuary Burg Nagezahn, see below). And even if we nearly got washed away three times by sudden rainstorms. Big thanks to my four wonderful helpers who enabled and reminded to keep painting. And thanks a lot to the organizers of Veganes Sommerfest Berlin and to the dear people of the Burg You’re all the greatest.
