Sketchbook marathon, Part 1 (and mermaid emergency interruption)

My sketchbook marathon has been running on my social platforms for a couple of days,so I compiled a few of the more interesting pages below. Lots of faces, people and Zelda stuff. See all of them on my tumblr, or watch them slowly accumulate day by day on my newly revived Instagram.

Only one problem now – the marathon is abput to be violently interrupted due to a mermaids emergency. Only yesterday I found out about the #MerMay online project and was totally in love all at once: Paint a mermaid a day for the whole month of may – how can you not love that idea?
Got into it a bit late, but as I had so much fun with my first mermaid sketch-turned-painting, I‘ absolutely looking forward to keep making these until the end of the month.

The setchbooks will come back after that, of course!

Mein Skizzenbuch-Marathon läuft seit ein paar Tagen auf meinen sozialen Plattformen, daher hab ich unten ein paar der interessanteren Seiten zusammengestellt. Eine Menge Gesichter, Leite und Zelda-Zeug. Seht alle davon auf meinem tumblr oder beobachtet, wie sie sich langsam auf meinem Instagram anhäufeln.

Jetzt gibts nur ein Problem – der Marathon wird nun brachial unterbrochen werden, aufgrund eines Meerjungfrauen-Notfalls. Ich habe erst gestern vom #MerMay Online-Projekt erfahren und war sofort völlig verliebt: Male währen des Monats Mai jeden Tag eine Meerjungfrau – wie kann man die Idee nicht lieben?
Kam ein bisschen spät dazu, aber da ich so viel Spaß mit meiner ersten Skizze-die-zum-Gemälde-wurde hatte, freue ich mich vollkommen darauf, bis zum Monatsende weiter Meerjungfrauen zu produzieren.

Die Skizzenbücher werden danach natürlich wieder kommen!
