Painting process: Dairy Goat

Time to finally present this piece: Dairy Goat
I painted it last year to be part of an artbook of all-female fantasy illustrators, which sadly never will see the light of day… The images are finished nevertheless, and I’m still really fond of mine. I like the symbol of fantastical satyrs freeing real-life dairy goats, making it a fairy tale and an animal rights piece at the same time. Below you can see the painting process step by step.

Zeit, dieses Werk endlich zu präsentieren: Dairy Goat (Milchziege)
Ich habe es im letzten Jahr gemalt, als Teil eines Artbooks nur von weiblichen Fantay-Künstlern. Leider wird das Buch nie das Licht der Welt erblicken…. allerdings sind die Bilder alle fertig, und ich mag meins immer noch sehr gerne. Mir gefällt das Symbol von fantastischen Satyren, die echte Milchziegen befreien, dadurch wird es sowohl ein Fantasy- als auch ein Tierrechts-Bild. Unten zeige ich den gesamten Malprozess Schritt für Schritt.
