Discussion & exhibition at Comic Invasion Berlin: 14 May – 30 Oct 2022

Late last year, I was fortunate enough to receive one of the artist grants from Berliner Comic-Stipendium 2022 for my webcomic Being Monsters. Now it’s time to show what results came out of it!

This weekend, on 14th and 15 May, the Comic Invasion Berlin festival takes place at the Museum für Kommunikation, and here we’ll hold our event:
On Saturday at noon I’ll be part of a group stage discussion about the 2022 Comic-Stipendium. After that, there will be the official vernissage of an accompanying exhibition showing some of the comic pages I and the other Stipendium artists created these past months. The exhibition will run until late autumn, I’m showing a longer scene from Being Monsters Chapter 2.

Drop in at the discussion / vernissage, if you have the time! Comic Invasion itself is also worth a visit, it’s free, fun and absolutely captures the spirit of Berlin’s indie comic scene.

Ende letzten Jahres hatte ich das Glück, eines der Berliner Comic-Stipendien 2022 für meinen Webcomic Being Monsters zu erhalten. Jetzt ist es Zeit, dessen Ergebnisse vorzustellen!

Dieses Wochenende, am 14. und 15. Mai, findet das Festival der Comic Invasion Berlin im Museum für Kommunikation statt, und in diesem Rahmen halten wir unsere Verantaltung ab:
Am Samstag Mittag werde ich Teil einer Gruppendiskussion auf der Bühne sein, in der es um das Comic-Stipendium 2022 geht. Danach gibt es die offizielle Vernissage einer begleitenden Ausstellung, in der ich und die anderen Stipendiaten einige der Comicseiten zeigen, die wir in den letzten Monaten angefertigt haben. Die Ausstellung wird bis in den späten Herbst laufen, ich zeige darin eine längere Szene aus Being Monsters, Kapitel 2.

Schaut doch bei der Diskussion / Vernissage rein, wenn ihr Zeit habt! Die Comic Invasion selbst ist auch einen Besuch wert, sie ist umsonst, spaßig und fängt den Geist der Berliner Inidecomic-Szene wirklich gut ein.
